Cog is a private assistant operated by Lonely Gnome for the account owner and authorized household use. Contact: [email protected].

Google Calendar access

When the account owner connects Google Calendar, Cog requests read-only calendar access to show the calendars available to the account and read events. Cog is configured to read only calendars explicitly selected by the owner. Depending on each calendar's setting, it reads event details or busy times. It uses this information to answer calendar questions and prepare requested schedule summaries or daily briefs. Cog does not use Google Calendar data for advertising and does not sell it.

Storage and sharing

OAuth credentials are stored in the macOS Keychain on the owner's Gondor computer. Calendar information may appear in Cog conversations and generated briefs, which may be retained on systems controlled by Lonely Gnome until the owner deletes them. Cog's model and routing services operate within the owner's lab. Calendar data is not published on this website.

Control

The owner can remove calendars from Cog's allowlist, stop Cog's calendar connection, delete retained conversations and briefs, or revoke access in Google Account connections. Revocation stops future Google Calendar access. To request access to or deletion of retained information, contact the address above.

This public site

This site is hosted by Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process connection information needed to deliver the pages. The site does not have a login, analytics script, or calendar data collection form.
